A retiree in Oslo built a tool directory from an iPad and still approves every change

I'm retired, not a programmer, and I work only from an iPad. Over the last weeks I've used Grok Bot to research, check and write up AI tools, then build and update a small website from that. … The bots helped most with the boring parts, like checking hundreds of links and spotting tools that had shut down. I still check and approve every change myself.

Newsletter sponsor pitches stay drafts until he presses send

I used mine to pitch newsletter sponsors: 19 pitches, 2 replies in 5 days … The most important rule was that nothing goes out without my "yes". So every email shows up as a draft card. I read it, change it if I want, and press Send.

Chief watches the workout goal, Brian watches the renters insurance, email stays a draft

For example, I want to do 3 workouts a week. Chief keeps track of where I am with this goal and notices if I am falling behind. … Brian tried to cancel my renter's insurance because it thought it was too much but that's because of my building requirements … So my Quiet Email Hunter looks at my inbox, identifies those conversations and gives me the context as well as suggested actions.

Travel Sniper watches points, the school calendar, and texts when a fare is worth it

Travel Sniper, it knows where all we go (we travel an absurd amount including every summer a 40 day trip abroad) and I have it know my points balances and kids school calendar and it sends me a morning text with the best deals if any based on dates it knows we can leave and where it knows we like. It already found a crazy price on a round trip flight to Iceland that tempted me.

Six Grok Bot agents staff the rest of a mobile game studio

Anyone can one-shot a clone of Candy Crush now, then they are stuck with the other 85% of the lifecycle. So I staffed it: six Grok Bot agents with one job each, their own computers, and handoffs that do not route through me.

What is not in the grid

YouTube and podcast episodes showed up in search, including How I AI’s “7 Grok Bot agents I use every day.” Caption tracks were not in the static watch page from this network, and no YouTube API key was set, so those were left off rather than paraphrased. GitHub search is mostly unrelated issues that mention the product name. One issue cleared the quote check. Hacker News is full of launch threads. One first-person comment is included. The product site’s own use-case pages are not in this set.
